 A highly respected IT Industry veteran – worked for three decades in companies like Wipro, Digital, Compaq & HP. Took early retirement as Director-Enterprise Sales for India region of Hewlett Packard
He was member of SNIA & NASSCOM Domestic Council.
An avid sports enthusiast, has travelled to many parts of the world to see international sports events.
Member of CII Sports Task Force & IT Committee. 

 Played for Bengal and East Zone between 1981 and 1993. Was a member of the winning Bengal Ranji Trophy team in 1989-90 (only time after independence).
Indian selector between 2008 and 2012. During this period India won the World Cup in 2011 and was ranked No. 1 in both Test and ODI. Member of CII Sports Task Force
He was also in the Board of a leading consulting engineering firm for over two decades. 

Represented India in 60+ Tennis Team. Currently selected in 65+ India Tennis team for World Championship. Played for  University in the Inter University Table Tennis Competition.
Represented different clubs in Kolkata in Bengal Tennis League & consistently ranked Tennis player in India in the Seniors circuit.
Captained DKS Tennis Team for many years.
Held a responsible position in a leading Public Utility Company.
